Granary Cottage
This endearing 18th-century cottage is nestled in the middle of Gt Longstone. Keeping its original stone walls and oak beams, the cottage has recently been renovated to a high standard to ensure a great stay in the Peak District. You’ll be more than comfortable here with the attractively decorated rooms, beautiful furniture and quirky spiral staircase. The best thing to do when staying here is to explore the many trails the area has to offer, including a great walk to Calver Edge; breathe in the fresh air and capture some stunning photos of the surrounding picturesque views below. You’re not far from Water-cum-Jolly Dale - a scenic and peaceful little dale on the River Wye close to Cressbrook Mill. If you prefer to travel by bicycle, the Monsal Trail isn’t far either and is great for cyclists. After a day's activities, have a short stroll to a choice of two local and friendly pubs to wind down. Alternatively, if you prefer to relax and dine in, there's a well-stocked local shop nearby. If you feel like soaking up some local historic scenery then hop in the car to visit Chatsworth House or Haddon Hall.
