Flat in Pilsen (Plzen)
Stay in Pilsen like a local. The flat is in a popular neighborhood Bory that was built in 1920's and is less than 15 minutes walk to city center or several trolleybus or tram stops. Experience the capital of Western Bohemia at your own pace. There is a master bedroom with a king bed and a sleeping sofa in the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with basics such as microwave, fridge, stove, kettle. As Czech cooked food is delicious and inexpensive, you will probably eat out most of the time. The exception may be breakfast as breakfast places are not as common. 24 hour key pickup. Small grocery shops, restaurants and bars are within a few minutes walk. The nearest shopping center with a large supermarket (in Czech hypermarket) is Area Bory, about 1.3 km (0.8 miles). Plzen has very good public city transportation. Tram and bus stops are around the corner. The city is a transportation hub of Western Bohemia, so there are multiple buses and trains going frequently in each direction (i.e toward Prague, Ceske Budejovice, Cheb, or Nuremberg). Buses to Prague leave every hour from the bus station (about 15 mins away) and cost about $5, trains leave every hour as well and the cost is about $6.
