The Camelia is modern accommodation on the ground floor offering a double bedroom and large separate bathroom with large, walk-in shower. The double bedroom at the back of the property is very private, quiet and peaceful. A spacious, light sitting room with a dining table, chairs, flat screen television and sofa, a wood burning stove for those winter nights. Electric heaters, double glazing throughout. The property has a view over the courtyard and there is a terrasse with table and chairs. This is a spacious apartment offering amble space for 2 people. The bathroom is large with an Italian walk-in shower, tiled floor and walls. Modern sink with heated towel radiator. The bedroom has a double bed, a large mirroired wardrobe and 2 bedside tables with lamps. It is carpeted and is situated at the back of the apartment for complete privacy. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining room has a table for 4 people, leather sofa, large screen flat TV and a wood burning stove. There is heating throughout the apartment. In the main sitting and dining room the floor is parquet and the room is bright and airy and overlooks the courtyard, the pumphouse and the walled flowered garden. There is a small terrace at the front door which gets the full sun where you can sit and enjoy a coffee at the table, have a bbq or sit in one of the many seating areas provided in the different garden areas. All the gardens are available for you to use, to lounge in, bbq or simply sit and have a coffee/tea. Table and chairs are provided directly outside the apartment for your use. We live on site so we are available 24/7 for help and advice A lovely area in the countryside of beautiful Normandy yet close to all shopping amenities, transport links and tourist attractions local and further afield. 5 mins from the huge Foret d'Andaine used for walking, cycling, picnics and hunting. Many small and large chateaux in the area, museums, art galleries, antique shops, retail shops. Golf, horse riding, open air swimming, rock climbing, tennis, canoeing - all outdoor sports can be found in the area. Beside the spa town of 'Bagnoles de l'Orne' and the medieval town of 'Domfront'. Area known for its Calavados, cheeses, ciders, biscuits. During the summer season there are car boot sales in many of the local villages and towns which are beautiful with their flowering season. The area is quiet, safe and secure and staying in our apartment is a great way to experience the French culture. Whether on business or touring the area is very central for getting quickly to major roads or transport links to the coast or Paris. Buses are few and far between, taxis are expensive and so having a car is highly recommended. We allow pets but only on request. We can provide breakfasts. A security of deposit is required for those with pets or stays longer than 4 nights. Ample, secure parking for bikes and cars.
