Enjoy a glass of wine on your private patio, cooking up a treat on your Weber BBQ after a day exploring Ashbourne and the Peak District. Lime Vue is just 2 minutes walk to the shops, bars and restaurants that make Ashbourne a honeypot for visitors all year round. Your place is self contained and you have a private patio with amazing views and private access to the gardens which we open each year for the National Garden Scheme charity. We are keen walkers and gardeners and we know all the great walks from the door step. Especially if it’s a circular walk taking in a good pub! (The circular walk to Dovedale could take in 3 if you know the right route!) We will be around but we are used to guests wanting their own space. Chat to us, ignore us, we don’t mind - it’s your holiday! We work hard and commute long distances so for us when it comes to a well earned getaway we just park the car until we have to leave. Turn right to the market place and in 2 minutes enjoy a stroll around the shops and boutiques, a leisurely breakfast, a long lunch or head out for dinner and drinks. Turn left and you are immediately in the countryside en-route towards Thorpe Cloud and Dovedale. There is so much to see and do in and around the beautiful Peak District. From leisurely walks with pub stops (we can advise on many of these!) to the more strenuous and exhilarating outdoor activities, there is a choice to suit everyone. Whether you want a quiet reflective break to take in nature in the lush countryside, the hustle and bustle of our vibrant market town or thrill seeking at the nearby Alton Towers Theme Park, Lime Vue is the perfect getaway.
