We have everything you need to make the most of your stay. The boot room is the perfect place to kick of your muddy boots after a day enjoying the outdoors and clean down mucky paws if you have a four-legged companion joining you for your stay. At the end of the night, retire to the cottage’s king size bed for a peaceful night’s sleep. Feast on food in our breakfast hamper which comes with everything you need to start your day feeling bright. If you like to show of your culinary skills the cottage’s SMEG cooker is ideal for cooking up a storm. After a day relaxing, unwind with a soak in the cottage’s free-standing claw footed bath tub. Enjoy the cottage’s private lake – fish, boat or swim. If you prefer to stay on dry land, why not take a walk around the farm’s 90 acre estate or simply relax on the cottage’s decking and enjoy the picturesque views of the countryside. The boundaries of Apple Tree Cottage are quite clear though guests can also use one of our lakes for fishing, boating or having picnics. The lake is approximately 300 meters from the cottage though you can drive there if you wish with fishing equipment etc. If you are unsure please don’t hesitate to ask. We give guests their own space but are on call if required There is a well stocked village shop approximately 1.5 miles away A farm shop, serving breakfast is approximately 1 mile away A good pub and curry house are approximately 1 mile away You can walk to the local shop and pubs which are around 1.5 miles away There are lots of footpaths to go for longer walks No visitors unless previously arranged with the owners No fireworks Please no fake tan in the hotub!
