The studio is attractively and luxuriously furnished and is located in a rural farmhouse on the outskirts of Groningen. A fantastic place to use as a base to explore, work or relax the city, northern provinces and islands of Schiermonnikoog and Borkum. In addition to the rental of 2 studios, we have a large green yard with an orchard, small horse stable, chickens, rooster and a sweet dog (staby) Other: kitchenette, free parking on the ground floor. The guest house (garden room) is a nice, atmospheric high space. It is a beautiful room, with lots of light through the large conservatory doors, windows and skylights. The guest suite is located at the rear of the house, completely surrounded by greenery. From the room you have a view of the garden, with, among other things, a hundred-year-old willow tree and boats sailing through the Eemskanaal. The residence has its own garden and terrace with lots of privacy. The space and accompanying bathroom are luxuriously furnished. There is, among other things, an adjustable spacious bed, underfloor heating, spacious sitting and dining area and a kitchenette (with induction hob, fridge, combi microwave). The barn is shared and offers space to park the bicycles. Through the barn you enter the guest house. The house is completely surrounded by greenery, between the Slochterdiep and the Eemskanaal. There is a garden, but also an orchard and horse pasture. Nearby is Meerstad with its lake and beach. Lewenborg shopping center is 1 km away km Public transport (bus) is 290 m away. Groningen Train Station is 5 km away. Bicycles can be rented there. We are near a bicycle intersection (91) and a P and R site. You can park for free in our courtyard. Community scooters can be rented in the surrounding area and in the city. In consultation and for a fee it is possible to: - provide your breakfast (costs 11 euros pp) - to use the washing machine (costs 5 euros, including detergent). Extra cost: Tourist tax of 3.70 pp, per night, to be paid on the spot.
