Charming Private Room in Geneva, IL

The quaint town of Geneva is only 1.5 miles away. Known for numerous award winning restaurants, abundance of unique shops, countless beauty, wonderful parks, walking/biking paths along the river. We would enjoy sharing our home with you and can provide numerous recommendations. Perfect for solo, business, world travelers, married couples, friend getaways, and families. We also have another Airbnb room. This is a Christian family home and we live on the premises, it is not a place for hookups. Private room upstairs - new queen mattress with a desk, closet, tv, and Blue Ray player. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower combo down the hall has 2 sinks, shared only if there are other guests. Plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets. Kitchen and common areas are also available for use. Basic breakfast items are available for our guests, please clean up after yourselves. Our family lives on the premises. Parking is in the street directly in front of our two story brick home. You have access to our kitchen, living room, deck, and laundry. We may be able to accommodate additional guests for a nominal fee, or even our other larger Airbnb room. Just message for additional info. Access to the common areas of the house, kitchen, deck, and yard - not the other bedrooms. Washer/Dryer may be avail for a nominal fee of $3 to wash and dry for each load and $1 for laundry detergent, and possibly the use of our bikes for a fee. Inquire at time of booking. We welcome the opportunity to get to know our guests, but respect their time and privacy. Quiet, safe, friendly, family oriented neighborhood w sidewalks, 1.5 miles to town. Drive, walk or bike to town to eat, shop, and explore. Numerous incredibly delicious eateries for coffee, a quick bite, ice cream, chocolate, or a fabulous meal. No chain restaurants or shops in town but are plentiful along Randall Rd if desired. Be sure not to miss nature's beauty along the river. Take a stroll, or even rent bikes or kayaks weather permitting. Most people use their own cars or get a rental car. Uber and Lyft are available. Metra Train Station to Chicago, is right in town, only 1.5 miles away and an hour train ride. Ohare 45 mins by car. Midway @1 hour. Possible rides to and from airport $50 arranged ahead of time. Also popular is using bikes on the trails or renting a kayak/paddle boards on the river. If available, possible use of our washer/dryer for a nominal fee, ping pong table, etc - with respect to others. Some small quick breakfast items, tea, and coffee, are available in the kitchen. Not for pets. Please leave your furry companions at home. We have a $10 occupancy fee for all people regardless of age. This will be charges upon arrival if it was not included. Also if any infant toddlers soil mattress an additional fee will be assessed. We have an 11am check out, and if not communicated prior, we may assess an additional nights charge, especially if we have another guest arriving the same day. Otherwise we may be flexible.
