one-room-apt with ensuite and kitchenette, with wifi/wlan included, tv. Located on the ground floor, only 2 steps to take. You have your own bell to ring the bell. Situated in HEIDINGSFELD, a suburb of Wuerzburg, 5kms south, close to Autobahn A3, exit Würzburg-Heidingsfeld. If you come by train to the main station, take tram no.3 or 5, to tram stop "Klingenstrasse". From there it is a 7-min-walk along Eisenbahnstrasse to my house. Right now only the room in the attic is available, on request for 1 person. Pictures No (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) show the room with a double bed under the roof window, but this bed is resered for my daughters when they visit. BUT you can use it to put your suitcase on it. Your bed is the single bed along the wall (so you do not have to climb into it hitting your head like my daughters have to do under the roof window. You can use the zebra table and the chair to sit, and there will be a hot water cooker and tea and instant coffee for you to make a small breakfast, plus some cereals. You have wlan in the attic as well. No tv, but a stereo system with lots of CDs. Part of the huge room is used as a storage room for me. Please respect that. And please do not touch any of my things there..... I reduced the price quite a bit for the use of this attic room for those who just need a place to sleep - without cooking facilitities. The apartment described next is rented out permanently to a student now, as I did not have enough bookings by Airbnb. Nice cozy room on street level of my house, fully furnished with a real bed, size to sleep 1,40 m x 2 m, table with 2 chairs, shelves,closet for clothes, small TV with satellite programs, also in English. Free wifi/wlan. Open to kitchenette with real stove (ceran),microwave, hot-water-kettle, coffee machine, lots of cups, plates and other utilities. Big fridge in utility room (good for you as there is no funny noise while sleeping). En-suite bathroom with a bathtub/shower and toilet. Flower cove for natural light and fresh air. Not wheelchair available, as there are 2 steps in front of the house. Parking possible next to my garage, off-street, on a gravel lot. From main station 20 minutes by tram, plus 5-7 minutes on foot.Take tram number 3 or 5 to "Heuchelhof" , but get off in Heidingsfeld at "Klingenstraße". then walk up the sidewalk next to road and train tracks. Vineyards only 10 minutes to walk from my house. Good for biking along the river MAIN. Every June/July/September wine festivals - Franconia is famous for white dry wines. Even Queen Elizabeth chose a Franconian wine for her wedding and for her jubilee. No smoking please. Internet /Wifi FREE. Satellite TV. Landline: Local Calls to other landlines in Germany are free. Please NO international calls on my landline !!! You can hook up your smart phone on my wlan and use (Hidden by Airbnb) to make international calls. Würzburg is situated in Lower Franconia, 110 kms from Frankfurt Airport. Rolling hills all around, nice bike paths along the river. Lots of vineyards and wine bars... Most famous is our baroque palace called RESIDENZ, built in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , a UNESCO world Heritage Site, plus a castle from (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) on the hill. University town. Heidingsfeld used to be a separate city until (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Around 10,000 inhabitants. Shopping and restaurants 10 min. away. garden access from the street (outside of the apt, no direct access through the house) this depends on the guests... I can provide lots of information for travelers, we might even barbecue in my garden if we like each other, but if somebody wants to retreat, I am fine with that as well. So my house is just outside of the old town, which means it is easy to get to. to the city center of Wuerzburg it is 5 kms, by tram reachable in 20 minutes. free parking next to my garage on private ground (so off the street). Eisenbahnstrasse is parallel to the train tracks, but with good windows installed you will not hear the noise from (not that many) trains running by. You walk 5-7 min to the next tram station (called Klingenstrasse) - the tram ride into the city center of Wuerzburg takes only 20 minutes, the tram runs every (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) min. until 1 am ! Walk to buy groceries is 10 min. into the center of Heidingsfeld, underpass under the train tracks. definitely ONLY NON-SMOKERS , please! I have lung problems and cannot host smokers!
