Located in a pretty village 12 miles from the historic city of York. Our self catering 1st floor studio boasts beautiful garden views, king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, mini kitchen and access to private gardens. Regular bus service to York and Selby Westcote Annexe is studio style accommodation with private parking and is located on the 1st floor over a large detached double garage to the rear of our beautiful Georgian farmhouse boasting fabulous private garden views. You have access to private gardens with outdoor patio furniture to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet on a summer evening. The Annexe has a mini kitchen (combination microwave, fridge, sink, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine), en-suite bathroom with electric shower, king size luxury bed, SMART TV, tub chairs, dining table and chairs. Westcote Annexe is detached and located to the rear of our family home where we live. We are local to the area and are available for any information or help you may need. Wistow is a small quiet village with a church, pub and fish and chip shop. We have a regular bus service to Selby and York during the day. We can provide taxi numbers for evening travel. The nearest train and bus station is Selby. Selby is located approximately 2-3 miles away and is a pretty market town with a historic Abbey. There are also train and bus services to take you further afield to explore North Yorkshire and beyond! Selby town has a good selection of amenities including: shops, banks, post office, supermarkets, petrol stations, cafes, pubs, bars, restaurants, public swimming pool and gym, bowling club, park, library and golf course. It is worth checking out the up-coming events at Selby Town Hall. Market day is Monday and there is also a farmers market on the first Wednesday of each month. The historic city of York is located approximately 12 miles away where there is plenty to do during the day and night! The Trans Pennine cycle route (62) runs through Selby. We are approximately 15 minutes drive from the M62 and A1 motorways. There is a regular daily bus service to Selby and York. There is a train station at Selby where you can travel on to York, Doncaster, Leeds, Hull, Manchester and London. Trains to and from London take two hours from Selby station. We are only an hour from the ferries which comes into Hull from Rotterdam and Zeebrugge. We are 50 minutes drive from Leeds Bradford airport and 25 minutes drive from Robin Hood Airport in Doncaster. The Annexe is located over our large detached double garage with an external wooden staircase to access the accommodation.
