The city is situated by the sea, below a mountain with the ruins of a viking castle. Nowadays it is a buzzling city with shops, restaurants, galleries and museums. A unique small hideaway with its own private garden. Villa Sola is situated on a small island connected to the mainland just outside Tønsberg. Tønsberg, founded in the Viking Ages, is Norway's oldest town. The world renowned Oseberg ship which was found just north of Tønsberg centre bears proof of this. In the Middle Ages Tønsberg was one of the centre of power. Tønsberg is situated by the sea, below a mountain with the ruins of a viking castle. Nowadays it is a buzzling city with shops and restaurants. At Christmas time it is beautifully decorated, often covered in snow. In summer it is a popular holiday destination, with stunning skerries only minutes outside the city. Guest will have access to a carpark, sun chairs and bike rental. Closest airport is Oslo Torp, 30 minutes(KLM, WizzAir and RyanAir and Widerøe) Daily buss service every hour, 3 minutes walk. There are a lot of bike paths all over.
