Large twin bedded room with en suite and parking

Our home is in the village of Long Hanborough, close to Oxford, Blenheim Palace & the Cotswolds. It is well connected by road, rail & local buses. Hanborough station is 10 mins walk for trains to Oxford. Our large spare room is on the 1st floor at a quiet end of the house with en suite bathroom, twin beds of standard size, WiFi & a sitting area with kettle, tea bags & coffee. Cereal & toast are available for breakfast in our shared kitchen. Our detached, Cotswold stone home has a cottage feel to it but is quite spacious. The house is set back from the road and there is parking on the front driveway. We have a small, quiet, sunny garden at the back with views over the countryside from the upstairs back windows. COVID-19 MEASURES Whilst we are pleased to welcome you to our home, we do ask that you do not visit if you are experiencing or have experienced COVID-19 symptoms in the last 7 days or have been in contact with anyone else who has. We would like to assure you that in addition to our normal high standard of cleaning, we have taken care to sanitise the high touch areas in your room. We will wash our hands frequently during your stay and follow social distancing guidelines, asking you to do the same. Anti-bacterial soap and hand sanitiser are provided. Guests are welcome to help themselves to cereals and toast for breakfast in our shared kitchen and a kettle, teabags & coffee are always available in your room. We are usually at home and available during your stay when needed and we will keep you informed about any times we plan to be out. You will be given your own key so access will always be available to you once you have checked in. The village of Long Hanborough is surrounded by beautiful countryside and it is easy to find walks from the house or to drive to other lovely walking areas. Sheep often graze in the fields at the back of our house and there are thatched, stone, slate and tiled roofed houses and cottages in the village. 'The George and Dragon', a 17th century, partly thatched, Cotswold stone, eating pub, is nearby as are a Co-op shop, Post Office and Fish and Chips/Pizza take away. There is a children's play area 5 minutes walk away with multi-sport and tennis courts. If you are coming by road, we have space for parking on our front driveway. Hanborough rail station is a 10 minute walk from our house with Oxford one stop away, a 10 minute journey. Local buses go from near the house to the market town of Witney one way and Bladon (where Winston Churchill is buried) and Woodstock (where Blenheim Palace is) the other way. Guests may drop off their luggage before 3 pm if a mutually agreed time can be arranged beforehand. Please contact us through Airbnb, if possible 24 hours before arrival, to discuss this.
