Tree Space is a low impact log cabin which nestles under giant Beech trees. It's cosy in winter and light and bright in summer. One can enjoy the natural, tranquil surroundings, and feel part of them. It was inspired by low impact African lodges and there is a 'feel of Africa' in the environment and decor. Direct access on foot or by bike on to Hindhead Common and the Devils Punchbowl. Tree Space is an hour from London, within easy access of the A3 and Haslemere train station. Yet one feels miles from anywhere. The cabin itself provides a perfect retreat from the noise and rush of every day. There is direct access to Hindhead Common and the Devils Punchbowl on foot or by bike. The South Downs are a short distance away as is Frensham Ponds and the Surrey Hills area of outstanding beauty. There are quaint villages a plenty starting with Haslemere, then Grayshott, Petworth, Midhurst, Farnham all close by. Portsmouth is 30 minutes away by train or car. This area is country pub heaven as well and there are plenty to choose from (recommendations provided in the cabin). Tree Space itself is a free-standing cabin located 25m from the main house. Shrubbery and trees provide privacy. It has no vis-a-vis and a spectacular view of the common. It is secluded and private. Guests have access to the cabin and the garden below it from where they can walk to Hindhead Common and the Devil's Punchbowl. There is parking 30m from the cabin and the path leading to it is a down a slope and some stairs. If you are on foot or bike it will take about 35 minutes to walk from the station. Directions are listed under "location" visible after confirmed booking. Otherwise there is a bus every hour or taxis. On the day of your arrival, the cabin will be available from 4pm and the key will be in the door so you can arrive independently at your leisure. We provide guests with information and recommendations for the area. Someone will be available to answer any questions, if not in person then by mobile.
