Small converted Coach House in our garden in a quiet village lane overlooking The Ashdown Forest. Beautiful walks, scenery and wild life. We are between East Grinstead and Uckfield, convenient for Lewes, Glyndebourne and Brighton. Six golf courses within 20 minutes drive. Village shop, pub and three restaurants within easy walking distance. Peaceful ambiance with outdoor seating and limited use of our garden. We have provided table and chairs for outside seating on a small patio. Available for questions by text and email. Our property is down a quiet unadopted country lane, which is a no through road. A short walk down the lane leads to the Ashdown Forest. Originally a deer hunting forest in Norman times, Ashdown Forest is now one of the largest free access spaces in the South East. It is a great place for walking and enjoying spectacular views over the Sussex countryside and is known the world over as the ‘home’ of Winnie-the-Pooh. There are many places of interest a short drive from us and brochures and details are provided for our guests. Arriving by and having the use of a car is strongly recommended. There is a very limited bus service to and from East Grinstead and Uckfield, Monday to Friday. Most convenient railway station is East Grinstead with half hourly service to London Victoria. Taxis can be arranged - but at a cost! Parking is available on the lane opposite our property.
