The Lodge at Pathlow is a newly-converted, self-contained outbuilding in the attractive grounds of Poplar Cottage, with a large garden area, and spectactular countryside views. It has its own fully equipped kitchen and shower room with sleeping accomodation upstairs. A public footpath leads to canal walks to Wilmcote and the Shakespeare property Mary Arden's House, and to Stratford upon Avon. It is a 7 minute drive to Stratford, with RSC Theatre, cinema, restaurants cafes and riverside walks. The whole of the garden is available for the use of guests. There are various seating areas and a barbecue. There is play equipment and garden games are available. The whole garden and grounds are available for guest use, and there is ample parking space on the property. Hosts will be in the Cottage nearby during your stay for any questions or information. It is the proximity to Stratford upon Avon including all the Shakespeare Properties that makes this a good venue. Four excellent National Trust Houses, many pretty villages, and Warwick Castle are all within a 10 mile radius. A main route bus stop between Birmingham and Stratford is right outside the property and Stratford Station is 1.5 miles away. Park and Ride into Stratford is 1 mile away, but access to Stratford by car is fine as there are many car parks as well as some street parking. The Lodge gives you a secluded countryside location with spectacular views, yet it is only a few minutes drive to all amenities.
