Modern Lake House with Hot Tub and Sauna

A modern lakeside house nearby Vierumäki Sport Resort. The heart of the cabin is the open space downstairs with large scenic windows that bring the surrounding nature and sunsets indoors. A wood heated sauna and a hot tub* are located just by the private and unique lake shore with excellent views. During summer the clear lake water gets comfortably warm for swimming. *The hot tub is complimentary. Please check the conditions. The house is located by a west facing private shore line. The sun light reaches the surroundings from early morning to late evening in the summer time. Just next to the lake you can find a large wooden deck for sun bathing. Above is located a patio for the hot tub. Crystal clear water from our private well is used in the hot tub in every season. The covered terrace area next to the the sauna building is there for you on rainy days During a typical winter the lake gets frozen and it is often strong enough for winter sports like ice skating or cross country skiing, or simply hiking. The areas at the property and at the immediate shore side. A contact person is available for assistance during your whole stay. We will welcome you at the cabin to give you a brief introduction to the house. In case your travel/flight plan does not fit to the normal check-in times, please let us know so that we can arrange a smooth check-in outside the regular check-in-times. Spoken languages: Finnish, English, Swedish, German, Spanish. In the immediate surroundings you can feel the authentic Nordic nature and its fauna which has lived here at peace for decades. The peaceful shore side is connected to a large lake system called Päijänne and to the longest river in Finland called Kymijoki. Parking spaces are available just next to the cabin. A car is needed to move around as no public transportation is nearby. Long distance buses stop at the bus stop in Heinola city (6 km). The nearest grocery store (Citymarket) is five minutes away by car. It is open seven days a week. The sport institute Vierumäki is only 15 minutes away from the cabin and serves the sport loving visitors all year around. There are several suitable ramps (3km-8km) to unload boats/jets/snowmobiles into the water or ice from your trailer. The roads necessary to access the cabin are kept snow free during the winter time. However, the time schedules cannot be guaranteed. The cabin is a brand new one. The exterior work in the surroundings will be completed during the year 2022. Please note that some parts of the grounds may not be in their final shape. Please also note that the main cabin is not equipped with a cooling air conditioner. However, fresh (but not cooled) air is delivered to every room by a central air conditioner The closest fast EV charging station is 5 minutes away from the cabin. Slow EV charging can be organized upon request at the cabin. Please ask for the daily price. Note that the standard power outlets at the cabin cannot be used for EV charging. Bath towels and bed linen are complimentary for our guests. A rowing boat and life vests (4 persons) are available for our guests. Pets of any kind are _not allowed_ at the property (inside or outside). The hot tub is complimentary to our guests. In harsh weather conditions, especially in winter, the hot tub may be out of use. Any refund claims or compensation requests due to non-availability are not applicable.
