Single Room close to Train Station

Recently redecorated single room; perfect if you need somewhere to stay in Didcot or near Milton Park, Harwell or Culham. Just a couple of minutes walk from the shops & restaurants of Didcot, or a quick 10 minute walk from the railway station with frequent trains to Oxford & London. There is a regular bus service to Harwell, Culham & Milton Park only 5 minutes walk away. Please be aware we have 2 cats an (Website hidden by Airbnb) year old, and whilst not overly loud, they are happy boys who enjoy to play! You'll be staying in our recently re-decorated spare room with a comfortable single bed. The room has it's own TV with access to Sky TV including the 'Movie' channels, and we offer complimentary ultrafast WiFi. There is a small desk & chair suitable for a laptop plus a wireless charger for your phone along with 2 USB sockets to charge other devices, and we provide tea & coffee making facilities in the kitchen which you are more than welcome to use. The bathroom with a sunken bath & shower is shared with us, however you will always have access to use it at any time. Towels will be provided. In the spirit of being honest, there are a few areas of the house that need a little tidying up; for example, some of the windows (including your room) have condensation inbetween the double glazing. The windows still work fine, they just don't look very pretty. We're in the process of replacing them; we just wanted to make you aware in advance! In addition to your private room and shared bathroom, you will have access to our living room with full Sky TV, the Kitchen & Dining Area and Garden. In the warmer months (May-September) you are more than welcome to use our Summer House which we have converted into a 'Gin Palace'. We operate an honesty bar if you which to purchase any of the alcohol. We'll give you as much interaction as you like! If you want your own peace and quiet then we'll leave you alone, however if you want a chat or to ask about great places to visit in and around Oxfordshire we'll be more than happy to help. We are a working couple, hence the late check in time. Should you wish to check in earlier, please get in touch and we can look at providing a solution. Didcot is a commuter town with fantastic rail and road connections to Oxfordshire. Whilst the town itself probably isn't your primary reason for visiting, it does serve a great starting point to explore the beautiful countryside that Oxfordshire has to offer. Should you require additional provisions whilst you stay there is a nearby Sainsburys & Aldi superstore. Both are less than 10 minutes walk away. The beautiful collages of Oxford are a 20 minute train journey away, or if you fancy venturing a little further away then Blenheim Palace is a 35 minute drive. London is accessible by train in about 40 minutes. We are only about 10 minutes walk from Didcot Parkway station with easy and frequent access to Oxford & London. The A34, M4 & M40 are all close by, plus a regular bus service to Oxford, Milton Park & Harwell Campus. We have 2 children - Oliver who is 8 and James who is 5. They both sleep through the night, but tend to wake around 6am. We'll do everything we can to keep noise to a minimum, but we cannot guarantee they'll be super quiet as they are children after all!
