Enter a real "Other World". This historic Dutch dike house was built in 1865. The apartment is on the ground floor. It's completely renovated; has its own private entree, living room, sleeping room, bathroom and kitchen. You can enjoy the sunny mediterranean patio or use the beautiful grillkota from Finland: sit by the open fire and have a BBQ. The area of Welsum is a typical Dutch landscape; with dikes and windmills. Close to the Veluwe and the historic cities of Deventer and Zwolle. The apartment is completely renovated in 2016. It has a private entrance and features a cozy living room with authentic baker's oven. The flat screen TV is connected to the antenna with a wide range of channels. Free WIFI. This house has a very long history, since 1865! It was a former inn, bakery and cafe. Enjoyment and hospitality are very clearly connected with this house and we would like to continue. Private use of the sauna is €25 for 2 persons for 2,5 hours. Wood/coal for the Kota is € 7,50. Guests have access to the entire apartment and most of the garden with private terrace. Bicycles can be stored in a locked shed. Wonderful walks through the floodplain. Plenty of cycling routes but also beautiful trips by car or motorcycle are possible. There is documentation about the area in the apartment. During your stay you can use our parking down the embankment. There are no busstops in the nearby area. There is a supermarket within 3 km. The supermarket is closed from Saturday 4 pm to Monday 8.30 am.
