All rooms have ensuite bathrooms (2 with baths 2 with shower) and there is a separate toilet downstairs. Le Cerisier is located on the beautiful 6 acre grounds of La Ferme de Reffy, on the edge of the tiny hamlet of St. Josse au Bois. La Cerisier accommodations include: •All ensuite (bath and/or shower, toilet & basin) •Open-plan lounge and dining area •Fully equipped kitchen •Oven, microwave & dishwasher •Crockery, cutlery & cooking implements •Washing machine •Linen provided •BBQ & outdoor table •Log fire and heating •TV, Sky and DVD player •Swimming pool (May to Sept) •Individual parking for each cottage The cottage is ideal for summer stays; light airy décor, large rooms, outdoor dining, BBQ, swimming pool and plenty of space for children to play. Two cottages are on the grounds, positioned side by side with a fence for privacy. Each opens onto it's own patio area for outdoor dining, facing a garden of lawns and trees. Tucked away under the trees is a safely fenced and decked swimming pool, available for shared use between May and September (weather permitting). We live on site and are always happy to answer questions about the local area. St Josse au Bois is a very rural hamlet surrounded by arable farmland, the village of Douriez is 5 minutes by car or a pleasant 40 minute walk. The large historical towns of Montreuil and Hesdin are 15-20 minutes away. Because of our location a car is essential, or at the very least bikes, as the area is ideal for cycling. Electricity is payable at the end of your stay, the average summer usage is around 20-30 euros per week, the winter usage is entirely dependent on how much you use the electric heaters, as a rough guide 60-80 euros with average heater use. In winter months we give you a starter pack of logs, and you can purchase more after from the local shops.
