Stunning Villa located only meters from the beach and restaurants in resort. For the winter months the pool can now be heated. SHOPPING There is a large Eroski Supermarket (Spanish supermarket chain) on the outskirts of the resort and another small Eroski City in the main street, Avenida de la Playa. You will also find a Mercadona supermarket in Son Caliu .In the resort itself, you have a good selection of small supermarkets selling basic goods, drinks, snacks etc. There are also a number of souvenir and clothes shops. BEACHES There are three beautiful bays, Playa Son Matias, Playa de Palmanova and Playa Es Carregador, all magnificent and very well cared for by Calvia Ajuntament (council). All three beaches have been awarded the 'BLUE FLAG' which denotes that the quality of both the beach and the water is regularly checked and kept to a very high standard. EATING OUT The resort has numerous fast food cafes including a large McDonalds, you will still find traditional Spanish Restaurants including Tapas Bars in the resort. Apart from Tapas (inexpensive small plates of traditional Spanish food) you will find, Ali-Oli and even Menu-Del-Dia (a daily inexpensive set meal, 2 or 3 courses) where wine, water and sometimes lemonade are included in the price. In addition you will find a variety of International Restaurants in the resort, everything from Mexican to Italian, British, Chinese, Indian and even Japanese.
