Oceanside cottage in scenic Oxelösund archipelago

In scenic Femöre nature reserve lies this little gem. An oasis with secluded location in its own bay. Easy to reach by car, spacious parking area. Appr one hour drive from Sthlm or 15 min taxi ride from Skavsta airport. The house consists of kitchen, livingroom & bathroom downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. There’s also a Friggebod. Take a short walk and you’ll reach open sea. Or take a swim and relax in our sauna. 5 min drive to Oxelösund (grocery shopping, etc) and 45 min to Kolmården zoo. The main house is quite small, 50 square meters, and consists of two floors. In the bathroom there is a shower and washing machine that you are welcome to use. From the living room you are able to enjoy the ocean view. The fireplace offers cosy evenings in front of the fire (do remember to bring extra fire wood if you are a heavy user:-)). The standard is plain but at the same time welcoming and "one with the nature". We never get tired of the view! The location is key when you rent this house. And out of respect of the location we kindly ask you not to disturb our neighbors by trespassing or playing music after 22 pm. Obs! The two bunk beds in the second bedroom upstairs are 185 cm - good to know if you are 193 cm as my husband:-) In the little cottage (10 square meters) you can sleep two-three persons in a "family bunk bed" (120 cm + 90 cm). The floating sauna with an exceptional view is included in the rent, just remember to bring fire wood. The place is all yours! We live an hour away. There are good but discrete neighbors. Pls respect their privacy. Take a swim, a boatride, hike, go fishing, visit the nearby café Skärgårdsvåfflan, the activity center Bodaborg or just enjoy the view. By car, driving along Utflyktsvägen is something that we recommend. You can also visit some of all the nearby castles (for example Julita) or take the kids to Kolmården Zoo. The Femöre surroundings are perfect for walks, hiking, biking, cajaking, SUP, fishing or swimming. By car you can go shopping in Nyköping or take the kids to Kolmården Zoo. Our own little beach is pretty shallow and partly muddy/seaweedy. The 25 m long footbridge and ponton is though perfect if you want to go for a swim. If you prefer the cliffs (with a bath ladder) they are only a 10 minutes walk away from the house. Or feel free to use the pier and the little beach at nearby BodaCamp. If you want to use the sauna - do remember to bring fire wood. If you want to use the grill - do remember to bring charcoal. Rowing boat, life wests and SUP-board included! The water heater contains app 80 l of heated water wich means you have to plan your showers a bit when more than one family in the house. Some days between 14/5-17/6 2022 nearby Skärgårdsvåfflan run camps for kids. Just to give a heads up - the silence may every now and then be interupted by laughing kids:-)
