Set within the grounds of The Hague built in 1856 by the local mill owner. The original stable block has been refurbished to the highest standards including an original Victorian bed and multi fuel stove. On the edge of the Pennines; both Glossop and Manchester are easily reached from our local train station. Luxury bathrobes, towels, slippers, toiletries and hairdryer provided. Smart TV and freesat in both the lounge and bedroom. Wi-Fi also provided. Bottle of wine and Welcome Pack on arrival Guest are welcome to use the garden. Unfortunately due to the uneven path and slope up to the door, the property is not suitable for those with disabilities. We are available to answer any questions throughout your stay and can recommend local walks and places to eat and drink. Lymfield Garden Centre with farm shop, cafe and butchers is within a 10 minute walk. Hair salon and a beauty salon are also in the village. The Harewood Arms is our local CAMRA pub serving a wide range of beers - many of which are brewed on the premises. Nearby Glossop has numerous shops , pubs and restaurants and is only a short train or car journey. Broadbottom Station is only a 10 minute walk away. Trains run regularly between Glossop (7 mins)and Manchester (25 mins) Bottle of champagne, chocolates and / or flowers for that special occasion are available for an additional cost - please ask on booking.
