Satzvey Castle, Suite 2

This is the former apartment of the grandparents of the current lord of thecastle. It has a livingroom with a sleepover couch for 2, bathroom and bedroom for 2 in 1 double bed. The windows offer a view onto courtyard and double towered gate building. Clemens Count Beissel von Gymnich and his wife Gerda (nee von Abercron) were bombed out during the last World War. They were the paternal grandparents of the current lord of the castle, Franz Josef Graf Beissel von Gymnich and were invited to move into this charming apartment situated in the Beletage of the castle and furnished with exquisite antiques, old paintings and valuable carpets. The semi-circular bathroom was built into the main tower of the castle. The ample castle grounds have various restaurants as well as the castle "Brasserie", which serves a typical German breakfast (not included).
