Serene cottage, beautifully private, totally cozy!

Tucked away in the heart of Preston village, Stanley cottage is detached and set out on one level. Preston village lies 1.1 mile inland from the beautiful Tynemouth longsands, between Whitley Bay and Tynemouth. Only a mile to the nearest metro station which gives access to the cities of Newcastle, Gateshead and Sunderland. The south facing high walled garden is soaked in sunshine all day. The compact layout and original features have been sympathetically modernised to suite today's lifestyle. This is an absolutely unique detached cottage. It has no windows that are on the outside of the building, all the windows are into the courtyard garden or velux windows that flood the house with natural light. Guests have the entire place to themselves. It is fully detached and does not even share a garden wall with another property! Guests can choose the level of interaction with us, if you'd prefer a fully contact less check in, we can use the video doorbell, or I can meet you and show you around! The cottage is really quite, though you're just a stones through from supermarkets, pubs and restaurants, not to mention the fantastic coastline and vibrant seaside towns of WhitleyBay, Cullercoats and Tynemouth It possible to get to any local attraction within 30 minute walk, or a 5 minute drive. The fantastic metro system takes you to Newcastle, Gateshead and Sunderland city centres allowing great access without the hustle and bustle for a great nights sleep. The second bedroom has a day bed that pulls out into a double. It is not a fixed double bed. When extended, it takes up all of the floor space. The cottage is best suited for 5 guests comfortably, though 6 is fine.
