Live on a Sculpture Parc & Meditation Island

The "Buitenhuis" is a Serene Place in the midst of a Sculpture Parc & Gallery & Meditation Island. This is a lofty like place with lots of art pieces inside. With a variety of sculptures and paintings, this chalet is a unique & beautiful place. The place is situated next to a golf course, a climbing company, a canoe association & there are many sailing, biking & horse riding facilities. It is located 15 minutes drive from the center of Rotterdam and 25 minutes drive from the center of the Hague. The layout of the house is playful and just a bit different than what you are used to. Through the hall you will find the toilet and spacious bathroom with shower and sink. You walk through the first bedroom with three single beds towards the living room. The large glass doors give you a beautiful view of a part of the sculpture garden. In the living room you will find a dining table, sitting area with television and a kitchen with fridge and freezer, stove and microwave. Next to the living room you will find the closed bedroom with a double bed. From this bedroom you also have access to your own private garden. You sit here wonderfully sheltered among the greenery. Parking is free on private property in front of the chalet. If you come by public transport, please contact us for the possibilities. I give my guests space but am available when needed. The area around the chalet is a lovely recreational area - there are plenty of cycle paths and walking paths and sporting activities. The area offers opportunities for sailing, horseback riding, canoeing, climbing and skiing on an artificial ski slope. In addition, there is a small island next to the chalet that has a sculpture and art park, a meditation garden and a gallery. Shops are an 8 minute drive in various villages. At 500 meters walk there is a "Farmer's market" which functions as a super market and cafe. In addition, there are several dining options within walking distance, such as 2 pancake restaurants, a culinary restaurant and a bistro with a large playground for children. There is also a large trampoline for children within walking distance and an indoor children's play area called Monkey Town. Tennis courts and football fields are 1 kilometer away. Rotterdam center is 15 minutes drive - The Hague center is 20 minutes drive. Scheveningen beach is a 30 minute drive and Amsterdam center is 1 hour away. There are plenty of bike paths and hiking trails. The Buitenhuis has 2 to 4 free parking spaces available for you. Shops are easily accessible on foot, by bike or car.
