A lovely, modern, self contained flat on the ground floor of family home. Short walk from Ripon market square, with views over the garden & river. Free parking on site and storage for bikes in locked garage. The space has a kitchenette, super-king sized bed, en-suite, huge cupboard and own private entrance. Hot & cold drinks, cereal & toast are provided. There are many restaurants in Ripon, with outside seating & take away service. Cleaning fee currently higher due to COVID requirements. You have sole use of a large super king sized bed with en-suite shower room. Huge double wardrobe. Power shower with toiletries and fluffy towels. Garden view Quiet area Your own entrance Bike storage available in locked garage. Parking outside the front door Guests can access the bedroom, en-suite and laundry room/ kitchen. Guests have their own private access and do not share the family home. I work from home so am available most of the day and evening. Happy to help. The house is close to many lovely country walks around Hell Wath and the River Ure which passes through Ripon. We are also a five minute walk to the stunning Ripon Cathedral with its crypt and altar. Well worth a visit. The area has many restaurants to try, from cafés serving homemade cakes and scones to great Mediterranean restaurants and Italians. If you are eating out in the day time try the following; Chimes café, Kirkgate Oliver’s, North Street Realitea, North Street Cafe on the Square, 15 Market Place, does lovely smoothies and pancakes. For evening meals there are two good pubs; The Royal Oak and So Bar which is a lovely spot to watch the sun go down with a glass of bubbly. There are also many restaurants along Kirkgate (cobbled area leading to cathedral) Market day in Ripon is Thursday, so it’s a busy day. There are a couple of amazing stalls, a Chocolatier and a bread and savoury treat stall. Both these are really worth buying from. We don’t really have much in the way of clothes shops here, but there are still some great places. Memorable Moments has cards and gifts and some amazing glass items (North Street). And further down the furniture shop has lovely items for homes. Travelling further? The 36 bus stop is just up the road. A one minute walk away. It runs every 30 mins to Harrogate and Leeds. Parking is available in the private car park, or out on the side road. You can easily explore Ripon on foot and its market on a Thursday. To explore the spa town of Harrogate there is a regular 36 bus from just outside the house, or it’s 15 minutes by car. (Harrogate has very little free parking) Bus costs £5 return to Harrogate. We have safe storage for your bikes on our locked garage. This is a family home which I share with my daughter and two cats. Cats don’t have access to the bedroom and en-suite.
