West Sussex Shepherds Hut

Our cosy and comfortable Shepherds Hut sits quietly in a grass meadow overlooking the woods and fields at the foot of the South Downs. Our hut is kitted out with electricity and lighting and has a comfy king size double bed with duvet, beautiful cotton linen, fluffy towels and dressing gowns. There is also a bunk bed available above the double bed suitable for a child if needed. An electric blanket and heater are also supplied for those chilly nights. Enjoy a cup of tea with meadow views. There is a kettle with tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk supplied, also some homemade granola if you feel like having a lazy morning and not going out for a full English locally when you wake up. Outside is a table and chairs for those lovely evenings with a glass of wine. There is a bbq for your use if you feel like staying put in the evening. Adjacent to the shepherds hut is an outdoor double walk in hot water safari shower (from May - October inclusive) so you can shower under the stars and a separate loo is nearby. Private parking along side the Shepherds Hut in the field. Our shepherds hut is in the field adjacent to our garden, and are around to help if required but totally respect your privacy. We are in the South Downs National Park (Britain's newest) with plenty of wonderful places to visit, notably the historic market towns of Midhurst and Petworth, Petworth House and Park, Cowdray Polo, Goodwood Racecourse, lots of local vineyards for wine tasting, the Weald and Downland Museum, Chichester and the superb beach at West Wittering. There is some wonderful walking and cycling in the area, in particular the South Downs Way. Bike hire is available in Midhurst and even an Electric Bike Safari if you are interested.
