Kuenburg (center of the village)

Wonderful setting next to Austrian alps - 2007 m (best water, air and soil quality; world inheritance-mountain railway) . The "Kuenburg" is used optional for events during the warm season. (ask me) There might be other people who will also stay in the house. tourist tax per Person per night ; 1,60€ wich is needed to be paid person The property is about 3ha, direct in the center of Payerbach; the room: located on the 1st floor with a huge balkony, a shared bathroom with bath top, shower and a separate toilet, some kitchen facilities to prepare simple meals. (kitchenette) Guest could use all outdoor facilities (old bakery shed, cave for grill, old water tower, garden, woods) most of the time I´m available, at least by telephone or Internet, or someone will replace me. We are a community of 6 people, grow our own veggies and live slightly alternative in different houses. Most of us are artists all ages. A public swimming pool, 2 banks, 4 restaurants, a coffee shop, a grocery store, the river and post and tourist office are reachable within 5 minutes walk. The train station is about 10 minutes walk and the theater 20 minutes away. Train station (10 min) There is a train to Vienna every half hour (Austria´s south train) A bus stop to the mountains and other villages (5 min) Taxi, bicycle, Ski and other sporting rentals available The place is usually very quiet, lot of nature, birds, dears, chipmonks.. but the railway goes around the village and that might be loud sometimes.
