The farmers market is a perfect way to start your Saturday morning with local fruits, vegetables, plants, live music, and great food! The people are friendly and happy to chat a while! Everything in Old Mandeville is walkable. People enjoy biking on the lakefront and also to see the historic homes in the area. It is truly an adorable town! Two bikes are included for your convenience as well as two beach sling chairs for the any of the events Old Mandeville has to offer! it is about a 35 mile trip to downtown New Orleans...just close enough for a day trip then to come back to the peace of Old Mandeville.
