ED Refnr. 2772519 VILLA MILA - Hospitality in large old mansion in the Province of VERONA - Only for one group of Guests up to a maximum of 25 persons Surrounded by a private park of green lawns and secular plane trees, the villa, (of more than 1,000 square meters) is rented entirely to only one group of persons. Villa Mila is in the heart of a highly suggestive rural setting comprised of the ample plains of the 'Great Veronese Valleys'. Here the three regions of Veneto, Lombardy and Emilia Romagna come together, offering attractions of great cultural, artistic and environmental interest. Villa Mila is situated in the southern part of the province of Verona, on the banks of the Adige river, 6 kilometers south of Legnago. It is linked to Verona, Legnago and Rovigo, as well as to the Verona Int. Airport, by the 434 Transpolesana motorway (the three cities are also reachable by train). Easy access from Verona to the Milan - Venice and to the Modena – Brennero (direction: Germany) motorways as well as, from Rovigo, to the Padova - Bologna motorway. The Milan international airports (Malpensa and Linate) are far 2 and ½ hours drive and that of Venice, only 1 hour. Villa Mila is furnished with antique paintings and furniture and it is situated on the banks of the river Adige in the town of Villabartolomea of which the ancestors of the present owners of the villa were feudal lords since the 15th century. Villa Mila is provided with all the necessary equipment for cooking and serving up to 30 people at the table: Coffe machines (Italian and American), pimer, mixer, pots and pans, cutlery, water and wine glasses and jugs and serving dishes, etc. Also 3 children beds and 3 baby cots are available to be placed in any bedroom. Upon request 3 twin beds can be switched into double beds. In addition, if the group is bigger than 25 persons, there is the possibility to accomodate other 4/5 persons in a separate apartment in the same compound (2 bedrooms and 1 fully equipped bathroom with shower). Tennis courts are available out of the property but just behind the Villa. In winter season the central heating system provides the heating to all rooms and bathrooms, but the relevant gas consumption needs to be paid in addition to the rental price. Outdoor tables and chairs are available to the Guests for more than 20 persons for lunches or dinners on the terraces under the large umbrellas. The off ground swimming pool (9 x 5 x 1,4 meters) opens from June 15 to September 15 and it s provided with its deckchairs, umbrellas and bath towels. The barbecue is one of an extended capacity and can be moved on its wheels within the park of about 2 hectares. Wood is at the free disposal of the Guest also for the fireplaces located in the house. Ten bicycles are at the free disposal of the guests for enjoyable rides on the bicycle paths on the bank of the Adige river which flows right aside the villa. The property is in our family since 15th century and I spent all my childhood holidays in Autumn with all my large family composed of my parents and 4 brothers and sisters. I want to transfer to my guets the same atmosphere and joy of a large and historical family vacation house. Villa Mila is the ideal position for visiting cities and places of enormous appeal such as: Verona, Mantova, Ferrara, Vicenza, Padova, Lake of Garda and the Delta of the Po river (all within the distance of 60 Km.). And Venice is only 100 km. far! Tourist itineraries include visits to places of artistic, historical or eno-gastronomic interest, tours in natural landscapes (the mouth of the river Po, the Lake Garda and the Prealps are nearby) and day and evening excursions. From the end of June to the end of August the world famous Arena Opera Season offers in Verona unique musical events. Nearest places of great historical and artistic interest are also the palladian Villa Badoer (in the village of Fratta Polesine) and Montagnana, with its entirely preserved medieval walls.
