2 bedrooms in cottage - near to Le Manoir
Double and single bedroom with breakfast available in 17th century thatched cottage in the picturesque Oxfordshire village of Great Haseley * Well located with good access into Oxford * 5 minutes from Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons * 5 minutes from The Oxfordshire Golf Club and Spa * 10 minutes from the world renowned Swan Antiques Centre in Tetsworth * 20 minutes from Bicester Village * 10 minutes from Thame market town * 30 minutes from Blenheim Palace * 30 minutes from Waddesdon Manor If you're looking for character but with all the mod cons, look no further. Welcome to my newly restored and renovated cottage in this beautiful village. There's beams aplenty, central heating, good wi-fi access, 2 well equipped bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one private to you). On the first floor, there is a double bedroom and a single bedroom which is accessed through the double bedroom. Both rooms have brand new, hypoallergenic pillows and duvets and pillow and mattress protectors. The beds are made up with mattress toppers too, cotton bedlinen and cotton towels are provided. They are only sold to one party and are suitable for a couple, family with a child or singles. USB ports are in the plug sockets. Next door is a private shower room with large rainshower and heated towel rail. You are welcome to use the kitchen table as a workspace, the wifi is generally pretty good here. You may use the kitchen to make tea and coffee at any time, but please note not for cooking. As this is my home in which I live with my dog, I will be resident during your stay. I am happy to provide a continental breakfast if you wish, just let me know your preferences beforehand and I'll do my best to get them in! I can also help you with information about the local area and arrange restaurant bookings, taxis etc. We have an excellent pub in the village - the Plough - with a French fine dining restaurant, reservations are recommended and it serves a good range of beers, wines and spirits. There are also plenty of good eating places within a few minutes drive. Parking is available immediately outside if you have a small to medium sized car, otherwise you may prefer to park 30 yards down the lane. If you want to go into Oxford City Centre, you may wish to drive to Thornhill Park and Ride, just 10 minutes away as the centre can get very congested and parking is expensive. There are several good walks literally on my doorstep, feel free to bring your muddy boots and explore! Please note that this is an old house so the stairs are a bit creaky, so it may not be suitable for those with restricted mobility. I would also suggest that it's not suitable for children aged 8 or under, but please feel free to contact me to discuss. I suggest you bring slippers as outdoor shoes are not worn upstairs. There are NO cleaning or other fees
