Double bedroom and Private bathroom near j29 of M1

Our home is in the Village of Doe Lea, Chesterfield and close to j29 of the M1. Nice & peaceful. We are adjacent to the beautiful Hardwick Hall estate and Bolsover Castle is visible from the guest bedroom window. We are 6 miles to the Market town centre of Chesterfield with its famous crooked spire. Please see "Getting around" for travelling distances from our house. We've lived in our property since 2013 with our friendly cat, Stripey. It is at the end of a terrace three storey townhouse. It is nice and spacious with the guest bedroom and bathroom on the top floor. Guests can have sole use of the top floor bathroom. More than welcome to utilise the kitchen diner on the ground floor, we provide a shelf in the fridge and cupboard. We have a small but lovely garden that guests are welcome to sit out in. Depending on how much input guests require we can be available as much or as little as required. We are generally around on a weekday evening and are out and about on a weekend. Our house is located on an enclosed estate which has a very active neighbourhood watch. Residents are friendly and very welcoming. The village of Heath is a 20 min walk away which has a lovely pub; the Elm Tree. We have space for parking for 1 car in front of the house. There is also off street parking just off our cul-de-sac. Please note - we are not in the centre of Chesterfield. You will require a car if you need to get into the town centre. There is also a bus stop 2mins walk away that will take you either into Chesterfield town centre which takes around 20mins or Nottingham which takes around 1 hour (pronto bus). We are very close, about 5min drive, to Holmewood where there are various engineering training centres including "Technique learning solutions". It is an easy 10 min drive into Chesterfield town centre down the A617 if you have a car or access the M1 (less than 2mins), Mansfield is a 15mins drive, Sheffield (30mins drive) or Nottingham (30 - 45mins drive). For those wanting long term stays please do get in touch and we will let you know of what discounts we can provide. Check-in times during the week is generally after 6pm as we both work outside Chesterfield. Also note that check-in is before 11pm on a weekday. During the weekends we are flexible on guest check-in and check-out times as we can generally make ourselves available, just let us know. For those who may be allergic - our cat, Stripey, is mainly outside or in the kitchen. He isn't allowed in any of the bedrooms and does sometimes come into the living room but isn't allowed on the sofas. At nighttime he stays in the kitchen/outside.
