Nicely decorated and comfortable room on the SECOND FLOOR in a newly renovated Victorian home (c.1890) in historic Baltimore. We are minutes away (driving) from downtown Baltimore (Ravens stadium, Oreols stadium, Horseshoe Casino, ect.), BWI airport, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and many major universities, museums and other attractions. Our property is 5 minutes away (driving) from most major highways like 695, 95, and 70, making commuting to D.C., Columbia, and Frederick very convenient. Our home was built in 1890 and was renovated for the first time in 2016. We plan to continue renovating the exterior to finish the look of the vintage house in the summer. Our house was uniquely designed to have both modern and English vintage looks. The room is on the second floor along with a full bathroom. We have rented rooms for both short-term and long-term before, and we learned that the more furnished the room the better. Therefore, we accomodate our guests with spaces (closet and dressers) to store belongings, a desk to work, and nice comfortable linens and comforter. We also have security cameras at the property 24/7. We have a large deck and huge backyard (approximately 0.5 acre land) that you are welcome to enjoy. The neighborhood is one of the first historical one in Baltimore. It's safe, quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood is next to Catonsville County where there are a lot of boutique shops, local businesses, and major grocery chains. Our property is 5 minutes away from most major highways like 695, 95, and 70. Getting around by car in Baltimore is more convenient. However, public transportation like bus is nearby. To get to Penn Station for Amtrak trains, it takes about 20 minutes driving. Our property is 5 minutes away from most major highways like 695, 95, and 70.
