The town centre and various shopping centres are within 15 minutes by car, due to the convenient transport connections. The reservoir lake (with a separate nudist area) for swimming, boating and a climbing forest are about 1000 metres away, along very pleasant forest paths. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. Many places of interest are nearby. It is about 45 minutes by car to Dresden, about 65 minutes to Leipzig. There is a little travel guide in the accommodation with important telephone numbers and addresses, details of shops, restaurants and sights. Small holiday house with modern furnishing and a terrace This is a little house completely renovated in 2014/15, very quietly situated, near the reservoir lake in the recreational area of Oberrabenstein in Chemnitz. The house of around 40m² is on a 400m² site with its own parking space. The living room has modern furnishing, including a leather corner sofa, and a 40“ LED TV with satellite channels, a DVD player and stereo system for entertainment, and a games console on request. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge and freezer compartment, a four-ring hob with an oven, a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. The small bathroom with a WC and shower has a modern design. The bedroom, accessed up steep stairs, is furnished with a double bed (180 x 200cm) and cupboards.
