The Beach House on Oyster Harbour

Our 1 bedroom ocean front suite is located in picturesque Ladysmith on Vancouver Island. Numerous stairs lead you to a self contained suite with the beach at your door step. Enjoy watching the sunrise, swimming, beach combing or bring your kayak or paddle board. We have long term (28 days minimum) discounted winter rates ($1450 per month plus $50 cleaning fee. This allows for 4 hours of cleaning /$100) between November 1 and April 30. Stairs lead you to the private entrance of your beach side suite. You'll find a comfortable bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare your own meals and a 3 piece bathroom with shower. Enjoy a private outdoor patio/ sitting area where you can watch the ocean come to life. Self contained suite with private ocean front entrance and the beach just steps away. Enjoy the privacy of your own suite with hosts available to answer questions regarding local attractions and activities. Ladysmith is a quiet seaside town nestled between Nanaimo and Victoria. The Old Town Bakery is a favourite destination and the Wild Poppy Restaurant is Gluten Free. There are numerous English Style Pubs nearby and a variety of other restaurants. Transfer Beach Park is centrally located and there are trails and hiking only steps away. The Ladysmith Golf Club is nearby. Chemainus, the small town of murals is 9 kilometres away. The Chemainus Theatre Festival offers professional theatre and the Mount Brenton Golf Course, an 18 hole course is just 12 minutes away. Both towns are centrally located on Vancouver Island. Ladysmith is located 1 1/4 hours north or Victoria and 30 minutes south of Nanaimo. The Departure Bay ferry terminal is 25 minutes away and the Duke Point terminal is 20 minutes away. There is no public transit in the area. There is a mooring buoy out front, should you decide to arrive by water. There are numerous stairs leading to your beach level accommodation and a small boat ramp for easy access to the water where you can swim or launch your kayak or paddle board. In front of your suite, you may be visited by Blue Heron, sea gulls, seals and river otters. We have Keurig coffee pucks, some freshly ground coffee, sugar and also cream in the fridge.
