A lovely 4 bedroom detached house set over three floors, in the historic market town of Southwell in Nottinghamshire. Cedar Place is designed for the comfort of our guests and benefits from an enclosed garden with wooden shelter and outdoor seating, a large private drive area, 4 good sized bedrooms, full cooking and dining facilities, a comfortable lounge with plenty of seating, an en-suite shower room and a master bathroom with bath and shower. Ideal for families, larger groups and contractors. The accommodation is set over 3 floors, with the top floor containing a light and airy bedroom with a king sized bed and an en-suite shower room. The first floor has 3 further bedrooms, one of which has another king size bed, the next contains twin beds and the last room has a single bed with a pull-out trundle bed that can be set up for an eighth guest. There is also a large and beautifully appointed main bathroom with a shower, bath and twin sinks. Games, books and dvds for all ages are provided and the property benefits from super-fast wifi. There's a large screen smart TV in the lounge and a DAB music system to enjoy. Guests have full use of the whole house to themselves. As well as the 4 bedrooms, this includes a lounge with plenty of comfortable seating, kitchen, dining area and garden with outdoor seating, shelter and a decking area. I live locally and like to call by to say hello and check that my guests have everything they need. I'll then leave you to enjoy the house but am always on hand if needed. Located in the popular and beautiful market town of Southwell, within walking distance of the centre and well located to explore the surrounding area. Attractions such as Sherwood Forest, Rufford Abbey and Newark Castle are only around 20 minutes by car. There's a play park just 2 minutes across the road from the house and access to the local Southwell Trail, which runs along the line of the old railway, provides a lovely walk into the town. There's a corner shop a 5 minute walk away and another few minutes brings you into the centre of Southwell where you'll find a number of independent shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants, as well as the Southwell Minster. You can also easily walk to the National Trust Workhouse from the property (a pleasant 20 minute walk). As well as the large private drive area, on street parking is available if needed for additional vehicles. Bus routes into Nottingham and Newark are close by. Additional cleaning measures are in place during the current situation with Covid-19 and the property is sanitised between every stay.
