Charming house built in 1941 that is one block off Highway 61 going through the heart of Two Harbors. Only a 5 minute walk from the house to Burlington Bay on Lake Superior and a walking path that takes you to what you go up North to see. It is walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Year round great location for spring, summer, and fall tourists as well as winter sports enthusiasts. The home has newly updated decor, living spaces, and bathrooms for family and friends to enjoy together. - There is a wheelchair ramp to the front door and the main level interior of the house is set up for accessibility since the owner is confined to a wheelchair. The bathroom and main level do not meet ADA accessibility standards. Please let us know prior to check-in if ramp access is required. All other entry is through the back door. - Walk to Lake Superior at Burlington Bay or Agate Bay and the breakwater/ore docks. - Walk to restaurants and stores. - Short drive to Gooseberry Falls State Park and Split Rock Lighthouse and everything else the North Shore has to offer is within a day trip. - Bedrooms 1 and 2 on the main level plus bath with roll-in shower. Bedroom 1 has a king bed. - Bedroom 2 has queen bunk beds: see picture. Guests will be responsible for putting the provided sheets on the top bunk prior to use. This is due to a change in our cleaning service and is beyond our control. - Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and a twin bed and full bath on the second level. - Twin bed on 2nd level landing/open space. - Half bath and laundry in basement - Kitchen and living room on the first level. - Patio chairs are available in the garage and code is available upon request. - New landscaping is in progress Fall 2021 for an improved experience in the backyard. PARKING: - There is free parking available for 2 vehicles or one vehicle with trailer in the back of the house. - May to Oct there is unlimited parking on the street in front. Nov to April winter parking restrictions are in place: street parking is not permitted from 2AM to 6AM every night ; anytime it has snowed no street parking until plowing is completed. We are available by text or phone as needed. We also have a local host to assist with immediate needs that cannot be resolved by phone, text, or email. The keypad is on the back door.
