The apartment is on the third floor of a four story building in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood in Glyfada, which was built in 2005. As you enter into the apartment there is a large spacious area and step down to a sunken living room which has its own private balcony complete with sunbeds. Fireplace, flat screen TV, stereo, and two full sized couches and coffee table are here for you. Next there is an open dining room and kitchen area that share another independent balcony. The kitchen is fully equipped (fridge, dishwasher, oven/stove, coffee machine, mixer, etc. and the balcony has its own BBQ, breakfast table), and a couch that opens up to a bed where you can enjoy breezy afternoon naps. You will enjoy having your complimentary coffee during your stay. There is a Master Bedroom with a queen sized bed, private bathtub and sink, makeup mirror, private balcony, flat screen TV and DVD player and plenty of closet space. Two more bedrooms are available, one of which also has a private balcony. There is a full sized bathroom and laundry closet for you to wash your clothes, and one more WC near the living room. UPDATE: new comfy bed in the master bedroom and 2nd bedroom. Downstairs there is a private parking space and a lovely garden. Of course the beds are already made-up, with fresh ironed sheets from top quality brand. Furthermore there are clean towels for every single of you. Entire property has free WIFI! Located in south athens, Glyfada is one of the best places to be in the summer. It is 25' drive from the airport, traffic permitting. The metro station "elliniko" is only 5' away by car or a 15' walk. Then it is 20' away from the Acropolis and the center. You can take nice drives on the Greek Riviera all the way to Cape Sounion where you can catch a fantastic sunset at the Temple of Posseidon. The best organized beach in athens is Astir beach in Vouliagmenis (see photos) which you can drive to in less than 10' or take a bus near the house. Glyfada has a great shopping area as well as many cafes, restaurants, bars. Besides the metro, there is a tram that you can take from Glyfada all the way to the center of Athens or Peireaus.
