There are also bus links to Bottesford and into the villages in the Vale. The property is just outside the village of Redmile. The local pub is within a ten minute walk partly on pavement or via the Grantham canal towpath nearby. The nearest convenience store, supermarket, greengrocer and takeaways can be found at Bottesford, a 15 minute cycle down the adjacent lane or 10 minute drive through Redmile. Belvoir Castle with its retail outlets is 10 minutes drive through Redmile and provides a challenging uphill cycle route. The views of three counties from the top is spectacular. Belton Woods, The Nottinghamshire at Cotgrave and Melton Mowbray are three golf courses in easy reach. Rutland Water is 30-40 minutes drive depending on where you want to stop. The reservoir has two cycle routes around it, 23 miles including the peninsular and 17 miles excluding the peninsular. It is not recommended for road bikes. Melton Mowbray is a twenty minute drive from Redmile.
