Shepherds Spring Cottage 2 is located in the delightful grounds of the 18th Century East Mills Manor, situated between the historic medieval town of Fordingbridge and the village of Godshill, 5 minutes drive from the New Forest National Park. The property has been tastefully converted to provide comfortable, stylish, high standard accommodation with self-catering facilities offering a beautiful retreat in a peaceful location. The Cottage spaciously sleeps 5 people across 1 double bedroom, 1 Twin room, and 1 Single room across 2 floors and has an Upstairs Shower/ WC Room and Downstairs Bath/ WC room. The Kitchen area has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and fridge-freezer and utensils. The kitchen flows directly into the comfortable dining/living room which has everything you need to make yourself at home; a 5 seater dining table, lounge area with large sofa, armchair, flat-screen TV, and DVD player. Downstairs includes a bathroom with bath, over-bath shower, WC and shaver point and Bedroom 1 which as a large double bed. On the first floor is Bedroom 2 with twin single beds into eaves and Bedroom 3 with one single bed into eaves, as well as a shower room with shower cubicle, basin & WC. On the landing is a storage cupboard with hanging rails, hoover, iron, ironing board, and airer. A welcome gift, free tea, and coffee, as well as free WIFI, heating, gas, linen, and towels, are provided. All our properties are family-friendly and have a selection of board games, as well as an option on booking for high chairs, cots, and stair gates. We welcome dogs on request, with a dog charge of £30.00 per dog. The cottage is located inside a landscaped gated courtyard where free parking is provided. It has access to a beautiful secluded garden that contains BBQs and Picnic tables, so you can enjoy outdoor dining whilst looking onto a beautiful meadow and the River Avon. It is the ideal location for nature lovers, runners, cyclists, horse riders and fisherman, with access to 2.5km of the private fishing swims on River Avon, stable and grass livery for horses and secure storage for bicycles and fishing gear are available upon request, fees apply. (Due to COVID-19 safety measures, please note the shared garden is closed, but Cottage 2 has access to a private courtyard at the front of the property which contains a picnic table and a BBQ. Access to the shared storage area is also closed.) This is a self-check-in self-check-out property. The code for the key box by the front door will be sent to you on the day of your arrival. Shepherd’s Spring Cottages are located within the New Forest National Park. Within a 5 minutes drive, you will have access to over 20,000 hectares of exceptional natural beauty, historic small villages, quaint houses, and traditional pubs. The local town of Fordingbridge is 0.7 miles away, which is a 2 minutes drive or 10-minute walk.
