Set in beautiful open countryside, Hackney & Hope Cottage is nestled in the hills of Hope Valley, in the heart of tranquil Bradwell village. It’s a great starting point for walks across the Peaks, as well as having: • Four friendly local pubs/restaurants • A well-stocked supermarket • Bradwell Brook • The Famous Bradwell ice cream shop …all within a couple of minutes’ walk from the front door. • Fully converted, stone built mid terraced cottage arranged over three floors • Two king bedrooms plus a snug/third double bedroom • Family bathroom with walk-in shower, double sink and freestanding bath • Off road parking for one vehicle Ground floor The ground floor comprises of entrance hall, sitting room and newly fitted, fully equipped kitchen. Living room • Three-seater sofa and armchair • Flat screen TV with Apple TV for Netflix, etc • Small library of books to read and swap Kitchen • Generous-sized kitchen with lots of cookware/glassware provided • Dishwasher • Washing machine • Plenty of cookware, including pots, pans and cooking utensils • Basics like coffee, tea, sugar, cooking oil, etc • Large dining table that can seat up to six people First floor The first floor comprises of the master bedroom and bathroom. Of particular note is the original narrow staircase which may not be suitable for all guests. Furthermore the cottage is located on the main road of the village. This is not a busy road, however after around 9pm, on average you will experience approximately 2 vehicles per hour. Please consider this regarding sleeping when booking. Access to the rear of the cottage from communal patio area. The keys are stored in a safety lock box – code will be provided upon booking. Please ensure prompt check out by 10am as the cleaner arrives soon after. I am contactable by phone and email for anything you need or want to know anything during your stay.
