Spacious, 500 sq ft, studio guest suite for 4 adults or a family of 5. There is a CA King size bed and a newly added double bed. The sofa is over sized too. We have a portable crib w/ infant changing station and a The en-suite bath is fully stocked. There is a single vanity & walk in shower. Large wall mounted SmartTV. A large desk and network printer makes it easy to get work done. Please see the Guest Access section for pool info, including months of operation. We live in a safe, quiet, established neighborhood near the end of a dead end street. There is a six mile trail access point across the main road, with Willamette Valley Country and Frontier Golf Course (9-hole, par 3) within a mile or so. Arrowhead, Sandelie, Oregon City Golf Club, Stone Creek and the Trails End Golf Center are all within a 10-20 minute drive away. Canby has several public parks with play structures for toddlers, littles and bigs too. The Canby Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 9-1 in downtown Canby. Pick up the best cheese fondue, jam and chocolates at Puddin’ River chocolates. They are one of the ten stops on the Canby Farm Loop. Historical Aurora, OR is 5 miles away where you can tour the historical museum and see how this unusual, 19th Century cooperative community thrived. Shop for antiques, vintage, art and architectural salvage. If you are luckily enough to be in the area on a Thursday evening, you may be able to attend a live auction at McLarens Auction House. McLarens is known as the best auction house in the state because they sell great, mid to high end antiques and vintage furniture, fine jewelry, art, clocks, clothing. There auctions generally offer some very unique and unusual items too! From May- October, all outdoor areas, swimming pool, pergola and pool house . The laundry room is available upon request. There is a Guest Corner in main kitchen that houses clean dishes, glassware and utensils. You will find extra supplies such as napkins, K-cups and sugar. You are also welcome to dispense filtered water and ice from the main kitchen refrigerator door. We enjoy meeting new people, so if you want to chat, that’s great. If you prefer alone time, that’s fine too. We have been vaccinated. More COVID-19 protocols are detailed in the HOUSE RULES section. Close to Willamette Valley Country Club, Canby Schools & sports fields, Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center, Pat’s Acres. The Aurora Colony is only a few miles away. Things to Do: Cross the Willamette on the historic Canby Ferry Ride the train at The Flower Farmer Attend the Swan Island Dahlia Festival Visit historic Baker Prairie Cemetery. It’s rumored to be haunted. A car is best. Will also lend bikes for trips around town. Bikes are subject to availability. As seen in some of the photos, our household includes Bentley, a 10 year old Spaniel/Terrier mix. He’s lively and affectionate, but does bark in greeting.
