The Cottage at Sainte Cecile

A quaint french 3 bedroom cottage that sits in its own grounds with private parking, terrace and lawned garden. Surrounded by green countryside and southfacing to trap the summer sun. Suitable for couples or families for that weekend away or longer stay holiday. The cottage has its own private parking, large enclosed garden for privacy. It has a private terrace with outdoor furniture accessible from the dining/sitting area. It is on its own and has total privacy from other guests at all times. The cottage sits in the grounds of a Manor and cottage guests have access to all public areas which include all the gardens and parking areas. We live full-time in the main house and are available at any time for advice and help. Our area is fields and hedgerows. It is very green and some of the most beautiful villages and gardens are in our area. In the country yet only 5 minutes from local services and shops. We are only 10 mins from the historic town of Domfront and 10 mins from the famous spa town of Bagnoles de l'Orne. 1.15 hrs from the Normandy beaches, Mont St Michel, Brittany and 2.30 hrs from Paris. There are many tourist and leisure attractions/activities closeby making it easy to find something to do everyday. A very french area for those wanting to experience the real france and the people are friendly, sociable and very helpful. A place to relax and do nothing or a great base for taking day trips to many of Normandy's famous attractions from the beaches, chateaux, parks & forests, shopping, sports and even a day-return to Paris. A very secure, off the road parking for mobile homes, bikes and several cars. Because of our location bus routes are very poor and run mainly to school timetables. However, buses from the local main towns are good to other areas and the trains including the TGV connections are closeby. Parking for the cottage is free and onsite, beside the cottage and it is advisable to have a car to get to the main bus or train stations if you prefer to use public transport to travel long distances.
