Quiet treetop studio! View the California foothill country from a private, comfortable hideaway high among the oaks. Cute and comfortable, newly remodeled, complete with kitchen and bath. Upstairs studio is separate from house, quiet and private. Large airy space with bath and small kitchen. Windows and deck provide views of surrounding hills and countryside. Apartment is across the driveway from our house, which is located at the end of a cul de sac. We reside full time in our home, but may not always be home when you arrive. We will do our best to provide clear instructions to help you with your arrival and schedule. Well established quiet and friendly neighborhood. Downtown Sonora with restaurants and stores is a five minute drive away. Our county has a bus system available with stops within walking distance, plus a bus is available year round from Sonora to Yosemite. However, a car is the best way to avail ones self to all the sights and activities to be enjoyed in this rural area. Sonora, with its rich history, many shops, live theater, and wealth of arts and music is also a perfect location from which to visit nearby Gold Rush towns such as Columbia, Murphys, Angels Camp, as well as the high Sierra, and Yosemite National Park. The apartment has a queen size bed, couch, table with 2 chairs. Separate kitchen area includes mini refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. There is no stove or oven. Dishes, silverware, glasses, and wineglasses will also be provided. There are two wicker chairs and table on the deck outside to enjoy the view.
