Amazing house in beautiful Villa Collina, Calabria

Spend your holiday with your family or together with friends in our lovely house in one of the most beautiful parts of Italy. Our place hosts up to six guests and offers a plethora of opportunities in the Italian sun. The neighbourhood has a large shared pool area, tennis courts and reserved sunchairs by the Mediterranean sea (just 1 km. from the house) and the local area has many impressive sights and delicious locals restaurants. Utility payments (0,5 euro per kWh) payed after the stay. A modern home that was built as a part of a big housing project covering more than a hundred homes in Badolato, our little family holiday home has since seen various upgrades both inside and outside, making it stand out among the other houses in the area. Cleaning fee covers cleaning of the whole house upon departure, rent of towels, bed linen and wash of these after use. Utilities expenditure (electricity, water, gas) is calculated as 0,5 euro per kWh and payed at the end of the stay to our local contact person. (Remember to please turn off the A/C units when not in the house). Guests will have access to all parts of the house apart from some locked drawers that we use to store our clothes in. There is still plenty of storage space available. We speak and answer in Danish and English on AirBnB, but you can write us in Danish, English, Swedish, Norwegian, German, and Italian :-) We are renting out of Denmark, so we will (unfortunatly) not be able to greet our guests upon arrival. To do that, we are collaborating with a local host partner. We speak Danish and English and our local host partner is fluent in Danish, English, and Italian. The house is located in the neighbourhood known as Villa Collina (locals refer to it as the Danish village). It started out as a housing project initiated by Scandinavians who bought the hillside and constructed more than a 100 houses. Today they are mostly owned by Scandinavians with a small Italian minority. During the summertime many of the houses are rented out and you'll be able to run into various nationalities by the shared poolside. The house owners are part of an association that employs staff such as the pool's life guard and gardeners tending the houses' yards and surrounding area. There is also a front office with an employee ready to help the residents with whatever issues may arise (and the have great suggestions for local sights or restaurants!) Public transportation in southern Italy is somewhat sparse. Badolato Marina next to Villa Collina has both a train station and bus stops, but the easiest way of travelling the local area is by rentning a car. Getting a cab/taxi should also be planned in advance. The employee in the office by the entrance to Villa Collina will be able to help guests out. When you stay at our house you will have access to all the shared goods within the Villa Collina collective. These are our shared pool area (Pool is open from Easter -> week 42 in October) and tennis courts as well as reserved sunchairs by the mediterranean sea (a 1000 meter walk from the house). To get to the sea, you can bypass through the neighbouring Aquilia residences (remember to bring the identification card showcasing you stay in Villa Collina). You can also access the bars and evening events at Aquilia.
