A wooden cabin surrounded by greenery-Pred Peklom

Our lovely little wooden house for 2 is surrounded by greenery and it is only 1 km from Pekel Gorge and Waterfalls. It is perfect for all who seek peace and quiet and love spending time in nature. Inside a house you will find a bed with small lamps on each sides and a table. There is also a heater which comes handy in colder months. In front of the house there is a table with benches where you can admire the views on the forest or meadows. There is also a small stream passing by if you want to relax by the water. Nearby on the location you also have newly renovated toilets with shower, small kitchen and a barbecue. This is shared with other camping guests, if there are any. There is no WIFI. The cabin is reachable by car and there is a lot of parking space. Our house is about 200 m away. We are always hapoy to interact with our guests if time allows us. You are welcome to stop by at our house for a coffee, tea or a chat. If you need some recommendations about what to see, eat or experience we are happy to help. Ohonica is a part of Borovnica Municipality. It is a small settlement, surrounded by forest and meadows. Pekel Gorge (Soteska Pekel) is reachable within walking distance (1,5 km or 15 minutes). Gorge consists of 5 waterfalls. In the summertime you can refresh in a clear water after a peaceful hike. Town Borovnica is 2 km away. There you can find supermarkets, gas station, a post office, a bank, pharmacy, restaurants, a bakery, a few coffee places and a train station. Close-by is also Ljubljana Marshes Nature Park (Ljubljansko barje) where you can go for a walk, birdwatching, kayaking or take a trip with a bicycle. A bit bigger city Vrhnika is 7 km away-a place where the Marsh and the Karst region meet. On the way there you can stop in Technical Museum Slovenia in Bistra which is situated in the former monastery complex. There are many things to see and do in our area, countless opportunities to discover both nature and culture. A train to Ljubljana will take 20 minutes and they go frequently.
