In a quiet and secluded part of Flitch Green you will find our self-contained Studio Annexe. With a separate entrance and hassle-free off-street secure parking, you, your vehicle and your luggage will be safe and comfortable for the night. Decorated in a fun tropical theme to give you that sense of escapism… why not let the holiday begin! The spacious Studio includes: • Free Fibre Wi-Fi & Bluetooth Soundbar to enable you to enjoy your choice of music! • Freeview HD TV to ensure you don't miss those favourites! • Kitchenette with fridge, induction hob with frying pan & pot, microwave/grill with suitable microwavable dishes, toaster, kettle, crockery, glasses and utensils to help you prepare an easy meal! • Tea, coffee, sugar & milk to get you going in the early morning! • Light Breakfast items: Fruit bowl & juice, cereals, bread & spreads so you never leave hungry! • King Bed & sofa couch (for those travelling with up to 2 friends, family or children), with linen provided for a good nights sleep... • Shower room and Toilet with towels and essential toiletries & Hairdryer to freshen you up! • Wall mounted temperature controlled electrical heating unit for those cold winter evenings... • Table Football for all couples/families ready for a challenge! Couples or families wanting to embrace the fun concept can turn up the music, pop on the hats from the 'hat-box', request ice for their cocktails and have a mini beach party! • For families with 'Tiny Tots' chairs, books & toys are supplied to assist with making it an exciting travel experience! The Studio Apartment is up a flight of stairs so little children will need to be under adult supervision when arriving and departing. A child safety gate is installed when needed to ensure safety once up enjoying the apartment! Children are welcome to play and picnic on the lawns when weather permits. Regrettably wheelchair access to annexe is not possible. My husband, Anthony and I are fun loving ‘over 50’s’ with 2 children in their early 30's who have flown the nest! The Annexe was always our party venue for friends and family, young and old, where many a good time has been enjoyed. It has been freshly redecorated and converted into a BnB so that more visitors (family, couples or solo travellers) can relax and enjoy this wonderful aspect of our home. We love people and love to travel – We relish the idea of making you feel like you are on holiday at Merry Perry! We aim to meet all guests on arrival, but respect privacy and are on call in the main house if help is required. ~Bordering the countryside, gated access allows you to take a relaxing stroll or energetic run along the Flitch Way. ~For the sporty types tennis courts are for hire at the local community sports facility just a short walk or drive away. ~A local Co-Operative convenience store is a few minutes’ walk for those forgotten supplies. ~Spoilt for choice with eating out options: Highly rated Flitch of Bacon is in the next village, Little Dunmow and a first class treat! . Felsted is a short drive, 1.3 miles, if you are visiting the School or would like to enjoy a meal at either, The Swan Inn (Gastro Pub), or The Razza (Upmarket Indian, includes take-away menu) ~ If you would prefer a take-away to enjoy in Merry Perry then we recommend the either fish & chips from Flitch & Chips or a gourmet burger from Trott & Whinny, both located in Flitch Green at the Tanton Road car park. ~Just 17 minutes from Stansted Airport, ideal for those early morning flights or late arrivals. ~A short distance from Felsted for visiting the School or convenient for Leez Priory & Chelmsford Race Course. ~The Arriva No.133 Bus runs regularly past Flitch Green and takes 30 minutes to/from Stansted Airport. ~ Alternatively message me regarding transport options & costs. If you are staying for more than one night, the apartment will be serviced daily and breakfast items topped up!
