Bread House is a secure and homely guest house situated in Bethlehem. We are perfectly situated approximately 28 kilometers from the tourist hotspot and picturesque town of Clarens, on the way to and from Kwa-Zulu Natal via the Drakensberg, to Bloemfontein on the way to Cape Town (N5) and about 2.5 hours drive south from Johannesburg via the N3. Bread House #2 is large double room with a king size bed and a single bed with an en-suite bathroom (bath). Self-catering kitchenette. The name is most appropriate as it is at the center of one of the most fertile wheat growing regions in the country. Bethlehem is known for it’s champagne climate. Summer temperatures are warm with an average temperature of 26 degrees. We are a stone’s throw from the Drakensberg and Golden Gate, where you can enjoy leisurely walking, hiking, horse riding and trout fishing as well as the tourist attractions of the picturesque town of Clarens. For the game and nature lovers – Wolhuterskop Nature Reserve is situated on the outskirt of town where you can view antelope species by car or follow a hiking trail. A few game ranches is nearby (25 km), famous for white lions and cheetahs. Game viewing can be done from open game vehicles. It is recommended that guests use their own vehicle to get around. Breakfast available in the diningroom. Booking is essential. R80 per person
