Tastefully decorated spacious loft at the heart of a picturesque village surrounded by a lush countryside. The warm atmosphere, refined decoration, private terrace with spectacular view and the organic breakfast will make for an unforgettable stay! My 18th century house that will become your home for the duration of your stay is located at the heart of one of the most beautiful villages of Southern Belgium. The Roman era church tower is across the street. At the back of the house, the nature unwinds endlessly until a dense forest afar. Besides the colorfully flourished garden where an abundance of organic berries, fruits and vegetables can be found, a prairie is home to 2 horses and a pony. These are available to horse riders and beginners can enjoy a private lesson with an experienced instructor (rates to be confirmed with Marie-Francoise). The duplex loft is composed of a comfortable sleeping room, a cozy living room, a study corner, opening on a private elevated terrace, a kitchen and a bathroom on the lower floor. In addition, our Guests can choose to take their breakfast with their host in the main kitchen. The garden is also accessible to our guests who will enjoy the variety of rare flowers, fruits and animals living there. Chats around the wood fire stove in the winter or around a glass of wine in the garden are enjoyed as much by the guests as it is by the hosts. Our picturesque and quiet village will just make you feel out of the agitated world for the duration of your stay while you will enjoy all modern comfort in your room. The village is surrounded by fields, forest and valleys. There is a golf course (Falnuee) and multiple castles worth a walk in a radius of no more than 5 km. There is a myriad of restaurants around Bossiere, from regional cuisine to Michelin star ones, Marie-Francoise will ensure that your gastronomical experience will remain unforgettable. There are bus connections (15 minutes) with the nearest town, Gembloux. Gembloux train station is on the main Belgian train line (North - South) and there are direct trains from and to Brussels Airport every 30 minutes. The Ryanair Brussels South Airport is only at 20 minutes from the house by taxi or pick up can be arranged (to be requested to Marie-Francoise). To wander around, we can provide you with the best walks and hikes suggestions, bicycles or even horses and pony (lessons also available).
