Exec. Suite Nestled in Woods - Private Entrance
Welcome to our modern Deck House! Our 1 bedroom suite with wood & beam interior, living area with deck to woods offers a relaxing nature retreat close to Dulles Airport, DC Metro & Reston Center. Horse/running/biking paths out back door. Wildlife! The bedroom is on the ground floor with it's own bathroom, kitchenette and lounge with glass sliding doors leading to a deck and the backyard. With the pandemic having a separate entrance and not sharing your space gives us all security. We live on the second floor of the house, keeping a safe distance from our guests. Pets are welcome upon approval and a separate security deposit; a fenced in dog run accessed through a dog door in the kitchenette gives your pet the freedom to go in and out. We are on 2+ acres backing onto the woods with paths to Little Difficult Run which is a watershed to the Potomac River. With deer and foxes you'll feel like you are out in the country. Guests will have access to the lower ground level only. We live upstairs and as your bedroom, living area and bathroom are downstairs you will have as much privacy as you want . We're happy to interact and help with advice and directions as much as you want or not. Our mailing address is Vienna but we associate with the town of Reston. Founded in 1964, Reston was influenced by the Garden City movement that emphasized planned, self-contained communities that intermingled green space, residential neighborhoods, and commercial development. The intent of Reston's founder, Robert E. Simon, was to build a town that would revolutionize post–World War II concepts of land use and residential/corporate development in suburban America. In 2018, Reston was ranked as the Best Place to Live in Virginia by Money magazine for its expanses of parks, lakes, golf courses, and bridle paths as well as the numerous shopping and dining opportunities in Reston Town Center. 13 minutes (8.5 miles) drive to Dulles Int'l Airport (IAD). 5 minutes (2.2 miles) drive to Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station (new Silver Line to DC). 5 minutes walk to Fairfax Connector buses to Metro. 1 mile drive to Washington & Old Dominion RailwayTrail (W&OD) — 45 miles in length from just outside DC to Purceville, VA, for biking, running & walking. If you are bringing a pet, and we agree, then there will be a pet deposit of $100 (paid when you arrive and refundable if there is no damage) and an extra cleaning fee of $75 (also paid on arrival) which is additional to the fee in the Airbnb booking. You will have your own kitchenette with - toaster oven, table top induction hob, microwave, toaster, pots and pans, kettle, dishes and cutlery. A small dining table is the room next to the kitchenette. The clothes washer and dryer are located in the guest bathroom which we will occasionally need to access. TV is free to air, not cable, with all the major networks and wired to the internet with Netflix and Amazon Prime. Extra bed available on request for the living room to accommodate an extra couple or kids.
