we are in the process of converting a old schoolhouse building, with stunning views of countryside, windmill etc. we have completed Phase 1 which provides 3 chalet type rooms - guest have use of internal courtyard and gardens. Each room has a separate kitchenette and bathroom, free parking. The schoolhouse is on the outskirts of town, 10 minute walk on lit pavements to bars and shops. 10 min walk or 2 min drive to town, we are located in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Guests have galley kitchen with microwave, fridge, coffee machine and kettle if they would like to prepare breakfast - there are some places to have a cooked breakfast in town if preferred. guests have full use of interior courtyard, entrance hallway area as this is solely for guests + the gardens (when finished!) portaferry is a stunning town on the peninsula, it is in an area of outstanding natural beauty - easy access to Castle ward (game of thrones) via the Strangford ferry. Exploris Aquarium, Portico Arts Venue, Echlinville distillery and brilliant bars are all available just short walk on lit pavements into town.
